Topics include: Getting Around in 3D; Creating 3D Solids; Editing 3D Solids; Rendering in AutoCAD; Outputting 3D Solids to 2D Construction Documents.

Introduction to AutoCAD LT
The objective of this course is to familiarize students with the fundamental concepts and techniques of 2D drawing with AutoCAD LT. Topics covered include understanding the AutoCAD LT user interface, using basic drawing and editing tools, organizing a drawing using layers, working with symbols (blocks), and annotating a drawing. The course can be taught in either 16 or 24 hours if optional topics are included.

AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT Fundamentals
This three to four-day course is for AutoCAD users who require comprehensive training. Topics include:

New User Interface Getting Started
Creating and Accessing Drawings Drawing Setup

General In House / Hands-On Training Information

Each day consists of 7-8 hours of training. We usually start at 8:30 a.m., break for lunch for 1 hour and finish up the day at 4:30 p.m. Select 7-8 hours of instruction from the above list to create the training course you need. In addition, the manual contains information on all of the above topics, so even if it is not covered during the scheduled course time, the information is available for later reading.

The rates for on-site training vary depending on the number of days needed for training and the number of employees to be trained. Other factors that may affect cost include airfare, rental car, meals, and hotel accommodations. CADtech provides a multimedia projection system, an adjoining laptop for an interactive presentation and manuals for your employees. CADtech will require a projection screen and an area to make the presentation, but beyond that, the topics that will be covered will depend on the training your staff requires. The training can be customized to fit your needs.
